 We would also like to welcome Andrea Bell, our new Project & Event Coordinator. Andrea's experience spans project management, marketing, advertising, media planning and buying, event planning, corporate and project finance. and event coordinator.
Prior to joining us, Andrea was a Project Manager at Incitrio Design{Brand}Media, a San Diego-based graphic design firm where she managed advertising, brand analysis, event planning, marketing collateral and website development on behalf of Incitrio's clients.

Social Enterprise Spotlight: Changents
Connecting innovators on the front lines of social and environmental change with people (like you) who want to help them.
We were recently introduced to an exciting start-up social enterprise called Changents. Changents connects charismatic Change Agents around the world with an Internet generation that demands personal involvement in creating change side-by-side with the personalities that inspire them. Members can build their personal "Ripple" by taking certain actions on the Changents site (such as sending a Change Agent story to a friend) and then watch those actions become waves as people respond across the Internet.
Changents started with a simple idea: find amazing Change Agent stories wherever they are, match 'em up to an immediate action opportunities and spread the good word to everyone who will listen.  One of the most frequent questions asked during our project management training workshops is: "What project management software do you recommend?" Unfortunately there isn't a fast and easy answer to that question. There are so many project management software applications on the market today. Social Enterprise Academy
Business Advisors, Mentors and Judges Needed
 The Social Enterprise Institute (SEI) will be conducting a 'Social Enterprise Academy" starting in San Diego in December. Approximately fifteen social enterprise organizations - nonprofit organizations that create revenue-generating operations to fund their missions - will be invited to do 15 minute presentation on their business growth concepts. SEI is recruiting business students, entrepreneurs and potential investors to serve as mentors and/or judges.
The Institute is looking for volunteers to serve as mentors and/or as judges for the presentations. We thought this was such a great opportunity, we signed up to help! We hope you will too.

Sustainability in San Diego
Net Impact: Changing the World Through Business
The Net Impact San Diego Professional Chapter hosts a free mixer on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Each mixer features an educational speaker and plenty of time to meet other like-minded professionals in San Diego.
December's speaker is Steve Kapp. Steve is a Technology Manager at the California Center for Sustainable Energy and President of the San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
